Description
Besides the plates and packings (having high efficiency of separation), high-performance rectifying columns have to be equipped with distributors, feeding, collecting devices and other important internal devices. The JSC PO STRONG company designs and manufactures all types of internal devices of columns.
The fluid distributors are installed in packed columns, above each packing layer, 150 – 200 mm above the packing. They are designed to ensure a uniform distribution of the liquid. Uneven distribution can decrease the efficiency of the packing by 2-3 times.
Fluid collectors are often applied between the packing layers for partial fluid removal and / or supply of a fluid distributor located below. They are often required to completely drain the liquid during receiving product or liquid discharge into the evaporator for re-evaporation, and can be used to mix liquids too.
